VLC and Audio Sync

If you use the VLC video player then an option exists to fix some of those videos that may have the sound slightly out of sync with the video.

Goto Tools and then Track Synchronisation.

Then using the Synchronisation tab you can advance or retard the audio (amongst other things) compared to the video.  With a small amount of fiddling the audio can be made to be much more accurate if required.
